This Runway Show will showcase emerging designers from Santa Cruz and throughout the Bay Area at the Civic Auditorium in beautiful Santa Cruz, California. This is an art form rarely exhibited in the Monterey Bay region and demonstrates amazing creativity and innovation. A unique feature of the event is the premier showing of eight to ten fashion “art” pieces by area artists. An accompanying art exhibit at Michaelangelo Gallery will feature the Fashion Artworks exhibited in last year’s show.
In addition to the Runway Show, a pre and post show Trunk Sale will accompany the event, allowing designers to sell their samples, overstock or current collection to attendees and for press and attendees to make personal contact with the designers.
This is the third annual event held to support emerging fashion talent! Proceeds from a drawing support the Cultural Council of Santa Cruz County.
